Browsing the book
You can browse the book, watch the video and read the sample without an account. These features do not sign you up for marketing. The website requests pages, images and files from its host; the host receives the technical information needed to deliver them.
Reader reviews
When you submit a review, the website stores your chosen display name, optional nickname, rating, review text, submission reference and date on the server. Choose a display name you are comfortable making public. Do not include your address, contact details or other sensitive information in your review.
Publishing your review
Your name, optional nickname, rating and text appear on the site immediately after you submit the form with publication consent. Reviews are not checked before publication. We do not label a review as a verified purchase without evidence of an order. The store may remove spam, abuse, irrelevant material or personal information.
Orders and payments
Selecting an edition or viewing an order summary does not charge a payment. For digital orders, Stripe collects your name, billing address and payment email at checkout; we retain the order details after payment for tax records and purchase support. For printed books, our website collects your shipping address and delivery phone number to calculate delivery and applicable tax. Payment-card details are entered on Stripe and are not stored by this website.
Purchase services
Order processing uses Stripe for payments, Netlify for order records, Resend for delivery emails, Cloudflare for private file delivery, and Lulu for printing and shipping hardcover books. Order records contain the selected products, payment status, amounts, contact email and, for a hardcover, the shipping details supplied at checkout. Card details are entered on Stripe and are not stored by this website. Service providers receive the information needed to perform their part of the order.
Order records and private links
Order records support delivery, customer service, refunds and payment disputes. A private order-page link grants access to the purchased downloads; do not share it. Download access ends after 30 days, but this does not automatically delete the order record. A refund or payment dispute can disable further download access. Accounting and supporting transaction records are generally retained for at least six years after the end of the relevant tax year, and longer where required for a dispute or legal obligation. Service providers may process information outside Canada under their own applicable safeguards and local laws.
Advertising measurement
If you choose Allow in Privacy choices, the storefront loads Meta Pixel to measure page views, product views and the start of checkout. Meta receives browser information, including IP address, page URL and advertising cookie identifiers. Automatic advanced matching is disabled. If server-side purchase reporting is enabled, an order placed with advertising consent and an available advertising cookie identifier can also send Meta the confirmed purchase amount, currency, time, event identifier and browser information. We do not include your name, email, phone number, postal address, payment-card details or private download links in these server-side advertising events. Your choices
Advertising cookies are optional and are not loaded before you allow them. Use Privacy choices in the storefront footer to change your choice for future browsing. Declining does not prevent shopping. We remember your choice in this browser for up to 180 days and honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals by disabling advertising tracking. Clearing site data resets your choice. Information already sent to Meta is not removed by changing this setting. Reviews are optional and remain on the server for display and management until removed by the site operator. Privacy requests
For questions about personal information or to request access, correction or deletion, email brokenarrovv@proton.me. To identify a review, provide the displayed name and approximate submission date; for an order, provide its reference. We may need to retain information required for order administration, disputes or applicable obligations. Applicable privacy rights remain unaffected. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada with a privacy concern.
